L is for Late (and Leslie Sansone)

Welcome to day 12 of the Blogging A-Z April Challenge, 2013!  Each day in April (except Sundays) I will be posting here, and the posts will be in alphabetical order!  This blog is all about my journey to weight loss / good health & fitness.

For some shameless self-promotion, I have 2 other blogs in the challenge, too.  Check them out!
Maple Grove Cemetery - Halloween related, but don't worry - no gore.
Random Ramblings - lives up to its name.  Totally random.

Better LATE than never - giggle snort!

Leslie Sansone is the creator of the Walk At Home fitness program.  I personally have several of her DVDs and enjoy them immensely.  So even if it is too cold / too hot / too snowy out, I have no excuse to get some calories burned and a good sweat going.
I still have not figured out how she (and her "walkers") manage to keep up the big smiles thru an entire workout.  I can't do it.

Leslie is the mother of 3 and comes from an Italian family who loves to eat!  In the early 80's she went with a cousin to check  out a workshop for exercise instructors and she got hooked.   She has produced over 100 DVDs and written 4 books.  She has numerous fitness certificates and has organized many charity walk and school fitness programs.  She's been in tons of magazines and been on CNN.

Her philosophy is simple. She believes that our bodies were made to move and we can walk our way to health and wellness.   And you don't even have to brave the outdoors to do it!

You can even follow her workouts on YouTube!
