F is for Fruit

Welcome to day 6 of the Blogging A-Z April Challenge, 2013!  Each day in April (except Sundays) I will be posting here, and the posts will be in alphabetical order!  This blog is all about my journey to weight loss / good health & fitness.

For some shameless self-promotion, I have 2 other blogs in the challenge, too.  Check them out!
Maple Grove Cemetery - Halloween related, but don't worry - no gore.
Random Ramblings - lives up to its name.  Totally random.

Fruit - according to the USDA's ChooseMyPlate.org, you're supposed to make half of your plate fruits & veggies.  That's nice.  How much should that be??

  2. Thank goodness for juicing and smoothies. I so find it hard to eat fruit but if I throw it in a blender ... daily requirement all consumed in one go! Well done me ... cause I am hopeless at remembering to eat it otherwise.

    1. That's a good way to get them in! And since smoothies usually taste good, too - that makes it easy! Have you made one with spinach in it? Makes a bright green mess, but you can't taste it in there.
