The beautiful Detroit Opera House opened January 22, 1922 after being known under several different names and locations.  It seats 2,700 and has seen acts such as Duke Ellington, Luciano Pavarotti, Louis Armstrong.  Since 1996, it has annually hosted 5 opera productions, 5 touring dance productions and other comedy & musical events.

  1. What a beautiful place! I'm not a fan of the opera but I love to see theater productions in places like that.
