#AtoZChallenge - Oddities

Hi, Welcome to my little corner of the Interwebz! I'm doing a pretty random theme this year - things that make me happy / are guilty pleasures / whatever makes me... ME!

I like weird / unusual / unexpected things around my house. (Spouse & Spawn just deal with it!)
Gary the Gargoyle - he was a Mother's Day gift a few years ago.
 Gargoyle bird feeder
Daisy the Dragon - she had her name before we got the cat, tho.
I found this at a local 'antique' store.
Why not have a cow in the bathroom?
The big happy bug.

I got this guy from Xochi's Gift Shop in Detroit last year on Cinco De Mayo!
That's the coolest little Mexican Store.
 I grew my own zombie.
 Gargoyle on the Grandfather clock
This was mine & Spouse's wedding cake topper.
Not odd, but I absolutely adore it.
I had it custom made by some lady in England that I found on eBay.  I just sent her pictures of us, gave a description of what we would be wearing & pics of Skeeter, Chester & Jack so she could get their coloring.   It's hard to see, but Spouse is also holding a little handheld radio.
Purple glitter yoga skeleton
This is Spawn at 11 years old.
I'd found this cool old frame and wanted a "vintage" photo for it.
I painted this pie tin many moons ago and it still makes me smile.
It's hanging over my back door.

Don't look too closely at any of these pics from the kitchen - after I took them I realized there's a bit of dust / cobwebs around stuff.  Ooops!
My Halloween mugs
Mugs from both ships I was stationed on, a random skull mug and a Tim Horton's mug.
I probably need to make another of these for Spouse's "Sweepstakes" mugs that he & a buddy get ever year for a ham radio contest.
And we can't forget about the ODD cat!  Rusty will lay next to Spouse every morning and paw at him until he rubs his chest.  Here I'm not sure if he's in a happy coma from getting his chest scrubbed or he's just waiting for more.

  4. Glad to know I'm not the only one who has cobwebs. Cool way to display the mugs though.
