Looking at the list I immediately knew which one my favourite would be (without knowing the other ones, hahaha): Every Rose has its Thorn. Fond memories. I also liked Skid Row of which I had never heard of before.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great music! (Can't wait for J!)

Thanks, I really like your daily affirmations, too
DeleteMore great videos - you have done a lot of research on this theme.
ReplyDeleteIt was actually quite easy - I picked the songs that I liked and found the videos for them. Time consuming because I had to watch them & sing along, tho :)
DeleteSkid Row! Sigh, another one of my favorites.

I may have thought about getting my nose pierced like the bass player at one time... :)
DeleteLove it!

Thanks! I really like your theme about risks. Lots to think about there!
DeleteThe best one yet! I like all of these. If I had to pick a favorite...Enter Sandman. The volume always gets cranked way up for that one.
ReplyDeleteIt's impossible to sit still when that one plays!
Deleteinteresting seeing how Bret Michaels has aged.

I wonder if he's bald under that rag he always wears now......
DeleteGreat picks!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteLOVE Every Rose has its Thorn. Thanks for sharing - I hadn't thought of that in years.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good song!
DeleteI'm getting quite an education in songs I've not listened to before. I feel my mind broadening as I listen.
ReplyDeleteThere's not much like good ol' 80s music on the radio anymore.
DeleteI don't know any of these! Thanks for expanding my listening.

E is for Elton John
I'm so glad to be adding to your education!
DeleteNow I'm feeling old - these guys were a bit after my time, but I can still admire all that hair and how cute they are in all their brooding rebellion!
ReplyDeleteLeanne | cresting the hill
They are some interesting characters!
DeleteWhoa...you have the modern masters of metal listed as a hairband? Fair enough I suppose they did have plenty of hair back then. Talk about immortal bands and immortal songs...exit light, enter night, take my hand, we're off to never never land. I love Metallica.
ReplyDeleteEnter Sandman falls firmly into my classification of "songs I just freakin' like"! The semi hitting the bed in the video has always been my favorite part.
DeleteI also use XM radio's HairNation station as validation as to what other people would consider "hair bands". :) But even they play some stuff that I wouldn't think - Nelson??? Really??
I've never thought of Metallica as a hair band, but I'll agree that "Enter Sandman" is one heck of a great song.

Tossing It Out
They're on the heavier side but I think they fit in my interpretation. :)
DeleteSo far, this is my favorite post of this year's A to Z.
