I don't really know what hair band songs are, but I like the Billy Idol one
ReplyDeleteDebbie
It's simply hard rock music from the 80s & 90s with a lot of guitars and most of the band members had really long hair. And probably wore more makeup than the women. :)
DeleteYou are definitely expanding my knowledge of hair band songs.
ReplyDeleteand they're all "singing loudly in the car" worthy!
DeleteWhat, no Cum On Feel the Noize? Or are you saving that for "Q?"
ReplyDeleteOddly, now that I think about it, unlike most A-to-Z challenges, hair metal gives you a few options for "Q."

Winger has actually composed come classical pieces for ballets! As recently as 2010.
Delete"to hell with the devil" -- now that's an album title that makes me curious about the song list :)
ReplyDeleteJoy @ The Joyous Living
They pride themselves on being Christian so it's not the stereotypical heavy metal!
DeleteCan't say I was a fan of Billy Idol, but definitely remember Cradle of Love. Totally forgot about Winger. Wow. Flashing back... :-)
ReplyDeleteI wasn't a huge fan of Billy Idol, but he did have a few songs I like. I hear Winger a lot on the radio station I listen to (got to love the XM!) but it really took me back to watch the videos!
DeleteOh, Kip Winger... What a tasty little morsel of a man... Ah, but I digress. I remember that song, along with Cradle of Love. The Stryper song sounds familiar, but I'm not entirely sure.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from AtoZ
