Pppppft - blow the dust off this blog!!
I started going to a new WW meeting location on the 7th and had to miss my first actual week there! But you would have skipped it, too. My sister had to have one of her horses put down (euthanized) Thursday and I just couldn't let her go thru that alone! Miss Angela even skipped dance class to go be with her - she always considered Princess "her" horse. So I took Friday off work and spent most of the day with her. She still has her moments, and will for a while, but when I left Friday afternoon, she didn't seem as fragile.
It's just been crazy. I'm still going to Yogalates at the dance studio - last week I was the only one in there, so Miss Desiree (the ballet teacher) kept correcting my poses and posture & such. She was judging me!!! Heehee! I'm pretty sure this is the last week of the summer session, since these classes coincided with the summer dance classes - and tryouts for the team are Thursday. There are a couple new kids trying out, but it's mainly for placement of some kids and a mere formality for others (like Angel, etc)
So anyhoooo.....
Friend Makin’ Mondays
If you’ve taken part in Friend Makin’ Mondays before then you are familiar with the rules. If you’re new, please take a moment to answer this week’s question on your own blog then add your link in the comments section here so we can all see your FMM questions and answers. Please invite your blog readers to add their links here too so everyone has to opportunity to be seen. The idea is to connect with other awesome bloggers so take a moment to read and comment on a couple of other posts.
This week’s is totally random and is based on things I have read about this week.
1. If you were given $10,000 and told you could donate it to a single charity of your choosing, what charity would you choose? Michigan Humane Society. I was adopted by both my cats from them.
2. If you were given $10,000 to spend on yourself (not to treat others or give away), what would you buy? You're asking this as it's rolling into Halloween season?? Heehee - I'd go nuts! Actually - I wonder how much of a dent that would make on building an addition on my house? We have a tiny 850 sq foot house - another room would be nice!
3. Toilet paper - do you have it hanging over or under on the roll? Over
4. When you drink your water do you like it plain or with a slice of fruit? Sometimes nothing beats plain ol' water.... but I usually add some Mio or Crystal Lite.
5. Are you left handed, right handed or ambidextrous? Most right, but I can use my left if needed. I just ate my lunch left-handed since I was surfing Facebook.
6. Thinking of the amazing Robin Williams who passed away this week What is your favorite Robin Williams movie? Hmmm. Probably RV or Good Morning, Vietnam.
7. Do you prefer cow’s milk or a different kind of milk? Skim cow.
8. Do you prefer to read an actual book or on an electronic device? I can do either. My Kindle is great for travel when I'll need lots of books (I read really fast), but right now I'm in the middle of an actual book.
9. Oatmeal – hot or cold? Either / or. I've been eating it cold lately. I'll make it the night before and it's good to go when I get to work the next morning. So much, that having it hot would be a treat!
10. Pies – sweet or savory? I don't think I've ever had a savory pie (except pot pies) - so sweet. I really prefer cobbler over pies, tho. I like that crunchy sweet crumble on top of the fruit.
Now go answer the questions on your blog and don’t forget to head over and post a link in the comments and go check out other peoples answers too – make those friends!
