SpringTime HodgePodge!

I missed a couple weeks!  Let's get started....

1. It's officially spring in the northern hemisphere. Does it feel like spring in your part of the world? If you're in the southern hemisphere it's officially autumn where you live. Does the weather say autumn? Which do you prefer-spring or autumn? Why?

Spring & fall are pretty close in my book.  I love the moderate temperatures and I just want to be outside.

That being said -
There's no snow in the forecast, so I call this awesome!
Definitely feels like spring!

2. What's your favorite thing about spring?

Hearing the birds and frogs.  Seeing green things start to poke up in the flower beds.  Flowers.

3. Spring into action, spring in your step, spring to life, spring to one's feet...which spring idiom currently applies to your life in some way? Explain.

Spring to life.  I feel like I'm coming out of hibernation.

4. Which spring food from this list is your favorite? What's a dish you like that includes your favorite spring ingredient?

asparagus, strawberries, salad greens like mesclun, artichokes, spinach, eggs, peas, spring onions

I've never heard of mesclun so I may or may not have had it before!  But a lot of restaurants around here (SE Michigan) have "Michigan Salads" that are made with mixed greens, walnuts, strawberries, mandarin oranges, grilled chicken, and usually a raspberry vinaigrette dressing.   It's really good.

5. What's one task on your spring cleaning list? Do you actually have a list?

I don't know how to word this nicely, but to begin with, there are 3 younger humans I'd like to, ummm, relocate! from my house in order to actually be able to spring clean!  And once they are relocated, I'm going to have to hire someone to come help me get that place under control.  Don't judge me for the fact my house is a FEMA-type disaster or that I'd like to have an empty nest!   Me & the Spouse love them, but they are literally the reason we can't have nice things.

6. Insert your own random thought here.

Easter 2023
One of my favorite pics of the grandkids.
Him with a toy truck and her missing a shoe - this sums them up perfectly!

Thanks, Joyce!
