  1. Lita Ford. Her duet with Ozzy - Close my Eyes Forever is one of the best power ballads of all time. Awesome nostalgic post

    1. I like that song, too. I saw her a few years ago when she opened for Def Leppard - we thought it would be awesome if Ozzy came out to sing with her, but he didn't :( LOL! But she sounds great live!

    1. I don't know a whole lot of Lita's music, but this was the first one that popped into mind.

  3. "Kashmir" is one of my favorite songs--I always keep it on when it comes on the radio and they play it pretty often on satellite radio. Yeah, I wouldn't call it hair metal, but it's a song always worth revisiting.

    1. I have no idea what the lyrics are, but the music makes up for it! :)

  4. Did you ever see the kids' percussion ensemble playing "Kashmir"? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYuOZnAqQCY

Lita Ford was great with The Runaways...

  5. I like Kashmir and Knocking on Heaven's Door, although I hadn't heard the Guns and Roses version. I remember the Bob Dylan one.

    1. I think they do a pretty fair cover. I hate when songs are completely ruined when they're covered!
